What I did today: First thing this morning, I spent about 30 mins beating myself up. Last night while watching two Film Noir movies for my research, I got the bright idea to fix myself a Coke Royale (Coke + Crown Royal). Needless to say, it did nothing for my blood sugar levels. It also left me fuzzy-brained for most of the day. I was able to get my writing done though. Tonight I watched “The End of the Affair” with Ralph Fiennes (*swoons*) and Julianne Moore (*drools*) also for my research.
What I learned today: Sugar and alcohol make Lori a dingbat nitwit
What I am most proud of today: I only allowed myself those brief 30 mins to beat myself up. Normally I would have dwelled upon it all day and made myself a miserable mess. Afterwards, I was able to focus and get back to work.
