So love this song. And I need that last verse tonight ’cause it seems like our country would rather have hate than love. Sigh…
Yeah, that last verse is definitely needed. As I told my father earlier, if this is what the majority of America wants, I just hope they can live with the consequences of it. He will have a mandate to do anything he and the Republicans want.. both houses, the White House, and the Supreme Court.. we may never recover from this.
I guess it all depends on whether or not he can learn humility and know he needs to rely on advisers so he can RESPOND to the demands of the office rather than REACT. We’ll just have to wait and see…
He is a Narcissist, Calen. He can feign humility, but not actually show any. The US is about to embark on four years of crazy-making. He has the full force of the White House and all it entails (control of the FBI, CIA, NSA, etc to attack his opponents), both Houses (to push through any agendas he seeks) and the Supreme Court ( to turn every progressive move we’ve made backwards). The USA may not survive him.
