As the Fates Would Have It 
“Wind Beneath My Wings” has a special place in my heart. One day we were drivin’ along downtown when it came on the radio and Drollery turned to me and said, “You’re the wind beneath MY wings.” I nearly fell out of the car. He was referring to me pushing him to not give up on getting his degree at Weber State. He’s not sentimental, so that was a RARE moment for me. But my favorite song of hers is still “The Rose.” It’s going to be the last song sung at my funeral. 🙂
I can remember singing wind beneath my wings in the shower in high school…and sobbing while eating ice cream and watching the movie. That was a fantastic movie.
It really was a great movie. Always makes me cry too. So glad you could connect with it and relive some beautiful memories 🙂
