02.13.16 – End of Day Notes

What I did today: The inevitable has happened. It always does when I go out into public in the Winter, well… ever since I had chemo several years ago and my immune system crashed. I have a cold. A nasty bugger. And just shortly after being so happy that I hadn’t caught one yet. So last night I took a shot of Nyquil and slept for 9 hours. I just took another shot and will probably be in blissful sleep soon. Somehow, I managed to get through all of my writing projects despite feeling like crap all day.

What I learned today: As soon as you say something hasn’t happened, it happens. I wonder why that is?

What I am most proud of today: I am still able to maintain a positive attitude. Although, if I could find the person who gave me their cold bug, I would probably slaughter them in their sleep… okay, maybe not. I couldn’t hurt even a fly (honestly, I’ve had some flies live in my presence for months!), but I would give them a good tongue-lashing!

What did you do today? Learn any lessons? Have a reason to be proud? Share your thoughts with me in the comments!
